Welcome to Belgrave. Belgrave, the gateway to the Dandenong Ranges, offers a dynamic mix of mainstream and alternate options for its visitors.

Attracting both tourists and locals, Belgrave’s shopping precinct is a vibrant hub for shopping and café lifestyle with all the major services anyone could need, all nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Sherbrooke forest.

Belgrave’s diversity allows it to also offer the alternatives of holistic services such as organic and locally grown produce, health foods, organic cafes and take away. Such alternatives cater for those with food intolerances, natural healing, fair trade goods, free range and chemical free meats.

last weekend of summer

The Belgrave Buskers Festival is an initiative of the Belgrave Traders Association in partnership with 3MDR 97.1FM Mountain District Radio. The inaugural event will be held in February on the last Saturday of Summer 2012 and is set to become a major annual event.  Already gaining lots of support, the Belgrave Buskers Festival offers cash prizes as well as various encouragement awards.

The Belgrave Buskers Festival will grow to become a three day event. With the bonus of the Three One Six Oh! Film Festival at the Cameo Cinema, you'll know to keep the last weekend of summer free every year.

Belgrave is a melting pot of amazing talent. It has great cafes and restaurants, local Bed and Breakfast accomodation, forest walks, even a history trail - you can experience it all.  Be sure to pop in and show your appreciation to the sponsors of the 2012 Belgrave Buskers Festival. The partnership between Belgrave Traders and 3MDR 97.1 Mountain District Radio will take the project from strength to strength, but not without the support of our local businesses.   We thank them for their generosity, making possible the creation of this fantastic community event.

Cultural Diversity Week

17th March - 24th March 2012

Cultural Diversity Week is a time when Victorians come together to share aspects of their culture, faith and language and celebrate the benefits multiculturalism brings to our state. Through this interaction and exchange of ideas, we endeavour to maintain our harmonious community and create a society built on understanding, acceptance and mutual respect.

Belgrave joins in the celebration. Community Groups from the region are invited to use the main street as their stage and share with us their joy.  Be prepared to be flashmobbed during Cultural Diversity week in Belgrave's Town Centre or email Marina at Belgrave Traders Association to find out their whereabouts  beltraders@belgrave.net.au
